The Benevolent Association

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Benevolent Association. The Benevolent Association charter states our purpose is for the promotion of fraternal intercourse among the members of such corporation, the relief aid and assistance of such members and their families who are disabled or indigent and the promotion of the welfare of the volunteer fire service within the Lake View Fire District.
Membership is open to any active volunteer fire person serving in the Lake View Volunteer Fire Association and who is in good standing. There is an initiation fee of $8.00 that you must pay but the yearly dues of $3.00 are then paid yearly by the Lake View Vol. Fire Association. This Benevolent Association has played an important part for many of our firemen and their families over the years.
You do not have to retain local residency to be a member. There is no initiation fee and the dues are $5.00 per year, two dollars of which are applied towards your Benevolent dues. If you chose not to join the Exempt organization, you are required to pay your own Benevolent annual dues. An additional option is $50.00 for Life membership and, again, your Benevolent dues will be included in the payment. We strongly encourage you to become a member of the Exempt Organization.

The Exempt Organization of the Lake View Fire Association, Inc.; is dedicated to promote a closer relationship between it's membership and to guard the welfare of the membership of the Volunteer Fire Association in every lawful way; and to uphold the high ideals of the service:
