The main hall at Fire Station Number 1 (2005 Lake View Road
Lake View, NY 14085), is available for renting ONLY to residents of the Lake View Fire District. The fee to rent the facility is $300.00 (subject to change) plus a refundable security deposit of $250.00. At times, the rental fee (not deposit) will be waived for civic and community groups.
There are certain requirements that users of the facility must consider when using the facility such as the number of attendees at the event, if alcohol is being served (which will require a certificate of insurance) and the nature of your event. It is long established policy of the Lake View Fire District that the hall is not rented for Stag parties. The Board of Fire Commissioners must approve all requests for renting the hall and may deny the request if the planned event may be considered questionable in nature. We do not rent the facilities for commercial endeavors such as caterers or party planners who represent constituents who live outside the fire district.
The facility will comfortably seat 200 to 250 people and there are 5 foot round tables and 8 foot rectangle tables for use in the hall. There are approximately 250 padded chairs and an additional 75 folding chairs. The building is ADA compliant with handicapped parking designated close to the main entrance. The main hall is air conditioned and smoking is not allowed within the fire station or main hall. Overhead projection equipment is available by special request.
We have a full service bar facility, a professional grade public address system for use at banquets and a full commercial grade kitchen. Users are required to bring in their own alcohol but ice and soft drinks are available for purchase through the Lake View Volunteer Fire Association. If the bar is being used, bartenders assigned by the fire association are a requirement for renting the facility.

Finally, the Lake View Fire District does not allow any tables or chairs to be removed from the building and we DO NOT rent or lend tables or chairs for events or parties held off premises.
